Application Procedure
- Eligible candidates must create and submit a profile in the PEI pool of candidates, where they are ranked using the PEI Labour Impact Category Ranking System.
- The highest-ranking candidates are periodically invited to submit a complete application through draws in their respective categories. Successful candidates receive a provincial nomination from PEI.
- After obtaining a provincial nomination, applicants have six months to submit a federal application for Canadian permanent residence. This involves completing a paper-based application, which is then sent by mail to the designated application center.
- Paper-based PNP applications for permanent residence are typically processed within an 18-month timeframe.
