Immigration Lawyer Brampton | Judicial Review & Appeals Canada – Batra Law Offices

Graduate Entrepreneur Stream Program Canadian Immigration Lawyer

If you completed your studies at a publicly funded Alberta post-secondary institution and hold a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit, the Graduate Entrepreneur Stream may let you stay in Canada permanently while building your own business. This Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) stream is built specifically for recent international graduates who want to start or acquire a business in Alberta rather than pursue traditional employment. At Batra Law Offices, we help candidates assess eligibility, prepare a strong business plan for the Expression of Interest (EOI) stage, and navigate the Business Performance Agreement through to permanent residence.

What Is the Graduate Entrepreneur Stream?

The Graduate Entrepreneur Stream is one of four pathways under Alberta’s Entrepreneur category, alongside the Rural Entrepreneur Stream, Farm Stream, and Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream. Unlike the Foreign Graduate stream (for applicants outside Canada), this stream is exclusively for graduates who studied in Alberta and currently hold a Post-Graduate Work Permit. Candidates register an Expression of Interest, get ranked against a points grid, and — if invited — submit a full business plan for evaluation before receiving a provincial nomination.
