It targets immigrants with skills, experience, and education needed in the province’s labor market.

Alongside the AIP, it helps Newfoundland and Labrador welcome more immigrants to address labor needs.

It’s an enhanced category aligned with Express Entry, offering a fast-track pathway to permanent residence.

It manages immigration programs, and candidates nominated through NLPNP’s enhanced categories gain 600 CRS points.

Candidates receive 600 extra CRS points, enhancing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence.

Enhanced streams have faster processing, potentially granting permanent residence in six months, while base streams require direct IRCC application and may take longer.
