The Health Authority Category is a pathway under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration stream for qualified medical professionals seeking to establish their careers in Canada. It is open to candidates with a valid job offer from a BC public health authority as a physician, nurse practitioner, or midwife, across any NOC TEER category. Applicants must demonstrate the education, training, licensing, and work experience required to perform their occupation effectively, and depending on the NOC TEER category, language proficiency requirements may also apply. Successful applicants may receive a provincial nomination, and candidates applying through Express Entry may benefit from an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, substantially improving their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence. At Batra Law Offices, we help candidates confirm their job offer meets program standards, prepare a complete application, and manage the nomination process.
