Eligibility Categories
- Business Visitors
- 90 days max without permit.
- Two categories: Investment and Short-term.
- Permitted activities include meetings, research, and sales.
- Intra-Company Transferees
- No LMIA needed.
- Three categories: Senior Personnel, Specialists, Graduate Trainees.
- Investors
- No LMIA needed.
- Involved in significant investments, permits for one year, extendable.
- Contractual Service Suppliers/Independent Professionals
- No LMIA needed.
- Temporary service supply for one year, EU citizenship required.
Application Procedures
- Apply at POE or VAC.
- In-Canada applications for authorized residents.
- Work permits may be extended, except for Graduate Trainees.
