The Yukon government is extending an invitation to individuals who are eager to take ownership and operate their own businesses in Yukon. Nominated candidates will be granted a valuable letter of support from IRCC for a 2 Years work permit. After that the candidates can be eligible for applying for permanent residence of Canada.

| Personal Net Worth | – Have a personal net worth of at least $500,000 CAD. |
| Investment Requirement | – Invest a minimum of $300,000 CAD into a Yukon business.
– Own at least 33.33% of the Yukon business – Have their business in one of the Yukon’s strategic sectors. – Not to have their business in an ineligible industry. – Hold a position within your business of NOC TEER 0 or 1. – Show how they will invest at least $300,000 CAD in capital investment in the first 2 years. |

Application Procedure
- Register and submit a business proposal if you meet program requirements.
- Eligible candidates with suitable business ideas enter a candidate pool.
- YBNP selects candidates based on undisclosed criteria.
- Selected candidates submit a comprehensive application with business details.
- Successful applicants attend an in-person interview.
- YBNP provides a 2-year work visa support letter.
- Candidates apply for a work permit with IRCC using YBNP’s support letter.
- Applicants move to Yukon to set up their business.
- YBNP outlines requirements in a performance agreement.
- After meeting the agreement terms, YBNP nominates for Canadian permanent residency.
- Within six months, candidates submit a federal permanent residency application.
