Candidates need to be registered for any of the BC Skills Immigration Programs as mentioned below to be eligible to apply under this program:

  • BC Skilled Worker
  • BC Healthcare Professional
  • BC International Graduate
  • BC International Post-Graduate
  • BC Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker

Express Entry Profile

–         Be registered for one of the BC Skills Immigration Programs

–         If registered under Federal Express Entry Program candidates may be eligible under Express Entry BC Stream of BC PNP.

Job Offer

–         Must be in one of the priority technology occupations (See below)

–         Must be for a minimum of 1 year (need not to be indefinite duration as required in other BC-PNP streams).

–         If the applicant is currently employed by the same employer for the occupation specified in the offer, they need to have a minimum of 120 days left in that position when they submit their application.

Language Proficiency–         As registered for one of the BC Skills Immigration Programs

Priority occupations may receive a targeted invitation from BC-PNP once a registration is submitted.

 Application Procedure

  • Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the National Occupation Classification (NOC) code requirements for one of the priority tech occupations.
  • Create a Profile: Make a profile on the BC PNP Online platform, which forms the foundation of your application.
  • Complete Application: Follow the application process for BC Skilled Worker or BC International Graduate programs, which are closely linked to the Tech program.
  • Tech Program Benefits: Tech applicants receive more frequent invitation rounds and faster application processing times.
