Application Process (corrected)
- Secure a full-time job offer from an eligible Nova Scotia employer.
- Prepare and submit a complete application to the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration (NSOI), including the job offer, education, work experience, and language documents. If your job offer requires it, you may also need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before applying.
- NSOI reviews the application against the eligibility criteria above.
- If approved, you receive a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
- Within the specified timeframe, submit a paper-based permanent residence application to IRCC (this stream is not processed through the Express Entry portal).
- Processing time for paper-based PNP permanent residence applications is typically around 18 months.
