The Quebec Self-Employed Worker Program provides an avenue for specific self-employed individuals to relocate to Quebec and establish their independent occupation, and become eligible to formally apply for Canadian permanent residency.
Candidates may come to Quebec to start a business or create their own job by doing a profession or a trade.

| Start-up Deposit Requirements | – Make a start-up deposit with a financial institution where they plan to practice their profession or trade: – Outside the Communauté metropolitainé de Montréal (CMM): $25,000 CAD. – Inside the Communauté metropolitainé de Montréal (CMM): $50,000 CAD. – Make the deposit after they receive the letter that would confirm the opening of their file. – Obtain their attestation within 60 days following the receiving of this request. |
